Avengers: Age of Ultron Will Have a Tag But No Post-Credits Scene
Its become pretty much a staple with Marvel Comics movies and to some extent all comic book related movies that there will be a post credits scene. I always get a kick at seeing the real fans staying seated and looking on with muffled glee at the “casuals” who leave the theater when the credits roll.
I lean over and whisper to my girlfriend (who is usually ready to head home too) and say “Look at em’! They should know by now! It’s a Marvel movie for Pete’s sake!”
But not this time. Age of Ultron will not have a post credit scene. It will however have a ‘tag’. A tag is basically a mid-credits scene. An epilogue that pops up shortly after the credits roll.
“There is nothing at the very end. And that’s not a fake-out,” Whedon says. “We want people to know so they don’t sit there for 10 minutes and then go: ‘Son of a bitch! I’ll kill them!’”
Oh and don’t be looking for a Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers tease during the movie either. I’m guessing the movie is too packed as it is and/or they don’t have an actress selected for Carol Danvers yet.
Back on topic, Whedon said they tried to come up with something but nothing could top the shwarma.
I happen to agree.
Nothing tops shwarma.
Well maybe bacon.
